Woodland Sleeping Bower
Tucked in snug, nestled in tight
Golden caterpillar, bundled up for the night
Mama gliding by his bed
Her gentle song fills his head
Lullaby, bubble tunes, melodies
Delightful, mood
Her voice is soothing, filled with love
Smiling faces from above.

Evening Ring Necked Dinky Birds
Sparkling stars point the way
Mama Dinky Bird ends the day
Flapping, soring toward their home
Rare Blue Fireflies lead the way
At last they arrive at the protected nook.
Her wide eyed babies take a final look
Up toward the sky their eyes gaze and dart.
The children make art of stars and hearts
Peaceful night, sleep not far.
Dazzled dreaming, in a blanket of stars.

Tide Pool Sleepover
“Let’s sleepover in the tide pool.”
Big fish jump in after school.
“Little fishes, Join us too”
Show the young ones something new.
“Let’s read a book before eyes close.”
Peaceful visions as they start to doze
In a sea of bubbles, purple and light
“Who will be the last one to say goodnight?”
